	Well, I suppose it depends. How long is the average person kept here? I suppose she just keeps people here long enough to determine they're not guilty in her opinion then arranges for their release, but... for you to be here for three years seems an exceptional case. This isn't right. I don't understand how and I don't claim to understand, but... it's not. From what I've seen and what I can gather this place lacks any of the rhyme or reason I had hoped for or even anything to make a cohesive plan with my own skills. But...

I promise I will do something to try and make your life better. As an officer of the law, I can't stand to see this chaos go on.

The time-space administration bureau.

There are hundreds of thousands of worlds, and hundreds of thousands of criminals who know how to access them. They would use the power acquired on a long-forgotten ancient factory to try and carve out an empire, to torment the people of a backwater society...

...to pursue a personal vendetta or to create a petri dish of people. I don't know if this Director is any of those, but when inhumanity occurs and worlds are crossing over to cause it, then it's our beat.
